Production agency BentoGG and game developer Psyonix saw our Rocket League fan art from 2015 (nearly 7 years ago) and asked to partner with us on an intro animation for their Collegiate Rocket League series (CRL) event stream.

A pigpile to the top! A common meme in this game is that players are always chasing the ball instead of cooperating with their teammate.
So I wanted to lean into that and create this pyramid composition which doubled as a metaphor to the way players rank up in this competitive game.
The client liked the energy in the sketch so much that they licensed it as a second design.
