Illustrated Cards

A full deck of cards used as a special marketing project.

The Koala Mascot I created for Kadince gleamed a vibrant success pulling in lots of new business and brand awareness. With that, the client wanted to try out an ambitious next project of a full custom deck of cards.

The deck was finished with a uv spot box, custom lettering/numbering, suite iconography, and unique arrangements of the number cards. Small details make a difference.

The cards sold out in a day and have are frequently requested since.

Every card was meticulously considered, down to the hand drawn lettering.

I researched a lot of old decks of cards. Things like making sure there is a One-eyed Jack, the Suicide King, the particular style of Queens was very important.
