Live Event

Donation based live print event with screen printing on upcycled garments.

Each year Adam, Josh, Jill and I create an earth inspired art piece and host a live-printing event. People bring old garments to print new designs on. The goal is to give new life to old clothing while raising funds for local charities.

The event has been a wonderful way to connect to our New England neighbors and get outside in the sun.

We raised over $900 dollars at each event and printed on 250+ garments. We printed on tote bags, pants, jackets, hats, handkerchiefs, chefs’ aprons and anything else you can imagine.

In order to print quickly on all the visitors goods, we limit the art to one color. This created clever solutions with halftones and inverted colors.

People got clever, the one-color constraints bred infinite solutions.

Some people asked to get multiple designs on one article of clothing. We printed some very unique pieces.
